| Forest Hill House Tour: September 20th, 2009 |
Two elements make a “great” neighborhood: great people and great houses. That’s what the Forest Hill House Tour is all about. We have eight great houses for the 2009 tour.
If you love the houses in Forest Hill... if you walk around the neighborhood for the fun of seeing the houses as much as the exercise... you would love being a volunteer for this year's House Tour.
We need folks to act as hosts at homes on the tour, we also need help with our brochure and ad sales. All volunteers will receive a free ticket to the tour, by the way!
If you love the houses in our neighborhood, the House Tour is for you. This is not only a fun event, it's also the FHNA's primary fundraiser. It's what helps pay for: concerts in the park , the restored entry archway at Forest Hill Park, improvements to Phideaux Field and the JRPS trail system, gift certificates recognizing service from our local police officers, donations to the Westover Hills Library, the 43rd Street Festival of the Arts, the Patrick Henry School Initiative and much, much more.
