Join the Forest Hill Neighborhood Association!  We meet the second Wednesday of each month, 7:00pm, Forest Hill Presbyterian Church.  Upcoming meeting dates:
July 8th,  August 12th,  September 9th,  October 14th,  November 11th,  December 9th
Our meetings are fun, friendly and informative.  We are always looking for new folks who'd like to be more involved in the neighborhood, from helping to plan
events to being a part of neighborhood watch to exploring our neighborhood's history.
One hour a month is time well-spent.

SOUTH OF THE JAMES MARKET:  Every Saturday, now through November, 8am till early afternoon.  If you'd like to become involved in the market please contact the Market Manager, Karen Atkinson.  She's always looking for input & ideas from the community on what they'd like to see at the market.  www.themarketumbrella.com

PATRICK HENRY INITIATIVE: Richmond Public School Board has given preliminary approval to the charter school application.  Now the real work begins!  Volunteers are needed for a variety of tasks, from stuffing envelopes to chairing a committee.  This can take as little as a couple hours each month.  The success of the Patrick Henry Initiative would be one of the biggest improvements our neighborhood has seen in decades.   Please help if you can!  Visit www.patrickhenrycharter.org for more information.

HILLS AND HEIGHTS
